Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It has been a profound privilege and an extraordinary journey to serve as the President of the Oman Urology Society (OUS) from 2018 to 2025. As I reflect on these seven years, I am filled with a deep sense of pride in what we have achieved together. Our collective efforts have transformed OUS into a vibrant platform for professional excellence, scientific inquiry, and collaborative growth.

Throughout my tenure, we focused on bridging the gap between local talent and international standards. We launched numerous educational initiatives, hosted landmark conferences, and fostered a spirit of research that has put Omani urology on the map. But more than the events and metrics, what I cherish most is the community we have built—a family of specialists dedicated to the well-being of our patients and the advancement of our craft.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the board members, our dedicated secretariat, and every single member of the society. Your passion and commitment have been the heartbeat of OUS. I am also thankful for the support of our local and international partners who walked this path with us.

As I transition to the role of Past President, I do so with full confidence in our new leadership. I am certain that OUS will continue to soar to even greater heights, embracing innovation while staying true to our core values. I remain a steadfast supporter of our society and look forward to contributing to its future success in new ways.
