Urologists, Radiologists, Oncologists, Residents & Fellows, Allied Health Professionals

Monthly, 2nd Tuesday of each month
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Start Date: May 2026)

MDT-style (Multidisciplinary Team)

Core Goal

Disseminate & standardize GU oncology knowledge across Omani physicians and allied health professionals

3. Rules for Participation

3.1 Speaker Rules

  • Must be a recognized expert in GU oncology.
  • Topics must be evidence-based, clinically relevant, and non-promotional.
  • Presentation must be submitted 48 hours in advance for review.

3.2 Journal Club Rules

  • Article must be published within the last 12 months.
  • Must be from a peer-reviewed journal (Impact factor ≥ 3 preferred).
  • Article circulated at least 5 days before the session.
  • Presenter must cover: Background, Design/Limitations, Clinical Applicability to Oman.

3.3 Case Presentation Rules

  • Real or fully de-identified case (Omani patient data preferred).
  • Must include: Presentation, imaging, pathology, MDT discussion points.
  • No identifiable patient information (mandatory).

3.5 Multidisciplinary (MDT) Rule

At least one representative from each specialty should attend:

  • Urology
  • Radiology
  • Medical Oncology
  • Radiation Oncology
  • Pathology (optional)
